We chose to obtain our specialist range of candles from The Isle of Skye Candle Company basically because we really liked their products but, just as importantly, we also liked the people!

All of the candles are made using either Soya wax, Beeswax or a combination of both. They are fragranced by 100% pure essential oils and wicked using specially treated plaited cotton thread.  These materials are used in all Isle of Skye Candles as, without compromising quality, it makes a significant difference to the environment because they are all renewable sources.

There are several techniques used to make the Candles, from hand dipping them in containers of wax, to pouring the liquid wax into glass, metal and plastic moulds. A key aspect of candle making is the pouring and dipping temperature of the wax, and indeed the temperature of the moulds.  These factors can have a huge impact on the way candles turn out, giving the candles their individual characteristics.

Our candles will not only help the environment but will also help you!  Because they are Aromatherapy candles, fragranced with 100% essential oils, depending on the variety burned they will help you in some manner or other. From lemongrass lifting your spirits, to Lavender helping you to get some sleep.  Our candles are sure to enhance your mind and body.
